Job Description

As National Account Manager for Medication Delivery you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding market share within the medication delivery portfolio across Portugal.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for the products and solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, hospital administrators, purchasing departments, and other relevant collaborators within the Portuguese healthcare system.
  • Identify new business opportunities, conduct comprehensive market analysis, and develop strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand existing ones.
  • Present and demonstrate the portfolio, showcasing value propositions and clinical benefits to healthcare professionals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sales with customers, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, and technical support teams to provide comprehensive solutions and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and administrative documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and support to customers on the effective use of the products.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Nursing).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry at national level (Portugal), with a strong focus on medication delivery or related products. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Portuguese healthcare market, including procurement processes and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various levels within healthcare organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Portuguese and Spanish. Fluent English is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary range for this role 36000€ - 42000€
