Job Description
The Mold Attendant is responsible for the efficient and safe operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of injection molds within the manufacturing facility, ensuring high-quality product output.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and operate injection molding machines and ancillary equipment according to established procedures.
Perform routine mold changes, setups, and adjustments to optimize production.
Conduct visual inspections of molded parts for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Clean and maintain molds, tools, and work areas to prevent contamination and ensure smooth operation.
Load raw materials into hoppers and ensure proper material handling.
Troubleshoot basic mold and machine issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance or engineering.
Document production activities, including mold changes, downtime, and quality checks.
Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve operational goals.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with injection molding or similar equipment.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
Ability to read and understand technical instructions and safety guidelines.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
