Job Description

The EU Medical Affairs Manager plays a key role in shaping and delivering medical affairs activities across the region, ensuring alignment with business priorities and scientific standards. This position focuses on driving medical strategy execution, supporting product value through scientific engagement, and strengthening connections with the medical community, including Key Opinion Leaders and professional organizations. Working closely with Medical Science Liaisons and education teams, the role contributes to high-quality scientific exchange, compliant communication, and informed decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of EU Medical Affairs plans aligned with regional and business objectives
  • Coordinate medical initiatives across countries to ensure consistent and effective delivery of scientific activities
  • Support physician education programs in partnership with professional education teams, with a focus on building strong clinical networks
  • Review and approve promotional and educational materials for scientific accuracy and compliance with regulatory and legal standards
  • Partner with commercial teams to ensure medical input is reflected in educational content and product communication
  • Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons to gather field insights and strengthen engagement with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Contribute medical expertise to business planning, innovation discussions, and product development opportunities
  • Translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences

  • Experience in Medical Affairs within the MedTech or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of clinical, regulatory, and commercial considerations impacting medical devices
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information to varied audiences
  • Proven experience building relationships with clinical experts and external medical communities
  • Background in clinical practice within areas such as vascular care, interventional radiology, oncology, or related disciplines
  • Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, or MBA is considered advantageous
