Job Description
Summary
Responsible for managing daily requisition of raw materials and consumables, movement of parts within the department, and preparation of finished parts for transfer. This role also includes inventory cycle counts, variance investigation, and system updates, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Request, receive, and issue raw materials (e.g., ink, cartons, webs, needles, cannula, labels) based on production schedules.
- Transfer scrap parts to designated warehouse areas and prepare finished parts for transfer.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas.
- Ensure continuous supply of component parts to production machines.
- Prepare silicon or silicon intermediates for assembly machines.
- Verify correct and approved raw materials for production lines and reconcile physical vs. system quantities.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts, investigate variances, and update systems upon approval.
- Manage label control, including monitoring usage, handling scrap, and updating records.
- Return excess raw materials to warehouse and monitor safety stock levels; raise purchase requisitions as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards (ISO 14001).
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Basic computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in inventory management and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with SAP & MES systems.
