Job Description
About the Role
- The successful candidate will execute the BU and Regional Marketing Plan and Professional Education initiatives for BD Surgery solutions (Hernia, Breast & Surgical Solutions) in Poland.
- The role partners closely with the local commercial team, regional stakeholders, and European teams to deliver impactful marketing initiatives, new product launches, professional education programs, and market insights, supporting sustainable business growth and customer engagement.
- This position offers strong local ownership with close collaboration within a regional matrix environment.
- Preferred location: Warsaw.
Key responsibilities:
Marketing & Launch Excellence
- Collaborate closely with regional and BU marketing teams to align and execute the Annual Marketing Plan for BD Surgery platforms in Poland
- Lead the development and execution of local marketing plans for new product launches, including positioning, value propositions, and launch readiness tools
- Manage marketing and medical materials through Veeva PromoMats, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely deployment
Professional Education & KOL Management
- Coordinate professional education programs and activities in Poland, as well as participation in EU Centers of Excellence, in collaboration with regional and EU teams
- Develop and implement a local KOL strategy, including identification, engagement, and development of key experts
- Support the creation and delivery of training programs (Immersion & Continuum) for both internal teams (Sales) and external stakeholders (HCPs)
Market Insights & Strategy
- Work with the local commercial team to collect, analyze, and deliver insights on market trends, reimbursement, clinical practice, competition, and pricing in Poland
- Conduct or support market research to validate marketing initiatives and business opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales to support key account development, customer engagement, and field activities
- Perform other related duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Marketing or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in marketing, product management, or product specialist roles, preferably in medical devices (experience in surgery strongly preferred)
- Strong business acumen and excellent communication and presentation skills
- Action-oriented with the ability to drive results and manage multiple priorities
- Commercial mindset with ability to support account development and growth
- High motivation to work in a market-leading medical technology company
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel within Poland and occasionally within Europe
