Job Description

Job Summary
Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery to produce medical devices and components in a cleanroom environment, ensuring product quality and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor various production machines (e.g., molding machines, assembly equipment, packaging lines) according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Perform in-process quality checks, inspections, and measurements to ensure products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or escalate complex problems to maintenance or engineering.
• Complete accurate production records, logs, and documentation as required.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and cleanroom protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet output targets.
• Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading of machine components.
• Identify and report any non-conforming materials or products.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments and procedures is a plus.
