Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

  • Accountable for achieving key operational and functional goalsrelated toSafety, Quality, and Delivery of the line.


  • Daily touchpoints with line associates to develop and mentor associatesto enhancetheir capabilities and support an Equipment Owner(EO)mentality.This includes but is not limited to Safety, AM defect tagging, 5S, tier meetings, breakdowns, and top losses.

  • Analyze losses andestablishlinepriorities for the Trio.


  • Identifykey areas of focus for the line and set priorities in alignment with overall manufacturing unit priorities.


  • Initiate and drive changes to ensure short-term and long-term goals for the line are met.


  • Supporttimelyresolution of issues on the line,demonstratingservant leadership and adhering to BDValues.


  • Proactivelyanticipateand address problems before theyimpactproduction by assessing trends.


  • Prepare and run Tier 1 productionmeetingsand ensure alignment of the entire Line Centric Organization (LCO) team.


  • Review production plans andanticipateany changes.


  • Plan and oversee the dailyCILT (Pit Stops)and update daily targets and goals on thelinePrimary Visual Display (PVD).


  • Ensures that all resources are properly focused to support any quality or line issues as they occur.


  • Spend approximately65% of the time on the production floor overseeing line activities.


  • Ensure all root cause analysisareconductedtimely,andappropriate correctiveactions are implemented.


  • Support the creation of new work instructions, standards,centerlines,and CILTs to enhance efficiency.


  • Evaluate and work withPMteam to ensure efficiency of the PM execution.


  • Communicate results and escalate issues to the Manufacturing Unit Leader.


  • Perform other duties asrequiredto support the needs of the business

Education and Experience:

This positionrequires:

  • High School Diploma with 10+years' experience in a highly automated environmentwith leadership experience.

OR

  • AS -(complete or in-process)with5+ years' experience in a highly automated environmentwithleadership experience.

Preferredqualifications include:

  • BA/BS - 3 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment preferred.


  • MA/MS - 1 year of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment preferred.

Manufacturing Experience (if applicable)

Indicate the minimum level of experiencerequired:

  • High School Diploma -10years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment


  • AS - 5 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment


  • BA/BS - 3 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment preferred.


  • MA/MS - 1 year of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment preferred.
