Job Description Summary

Garantizar la disponibilidad y correcta gestión de repuestos y materiales para equipos y maquinarias, mediante la planificación eficiente de recursos, actualización continua del sistema de gestión y coordinación del personal del área. Este rol asegura la continuidad operativa, el cumplimiento de los planes de mantenimiento y la optimización de procesos, brindando además soporte a proyectos de mejora y crecimiento del área, contribuyendo a la confiabilidad y productividad de la planta.

Job Description

Role Objective

• Ensure the availability and proper management of spare parts and materials for equipment and machinery through efficient resource planning, continuous updating of the management system, and coordination of the area personnel. This role ensures operational continuity, compliance with maintenance plans, and process optimization, while also providing support to improvement and area growth projects, contributing to the reliability and productivity of the plant.

Essential Job Functions

• Ensure the availability and proper management of spare parts and materials for equipment and machinery through efficient resource planning, continuous updating of the management system, and coordination of the area personnel.
• Provide training, coaching, guidance, and information to lower-level technicians as requested and needed.
• On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period

Education/Experience

• Associate's Degree or equivalent Industrial Technician in Electronics/Electricity with 7 years of related experience; working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic, boiler, and/or autoclave with demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach others, and transfer knowledge
• Experience in inventory management for spare parts.
• Proven experience working with suppliers and purchasing process
• Previous experience working in Maintenance

Required Skills

• Strong English language skills, including reading, comprehending, speaking and writing, and good communication skills
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and Maximo
• Extensive knowledge of routine preventive maintenance of production equipment including PLC and automatic access control systems
• In-depth knowledge in multidisciplinary electrical, mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and controls
• Knowledge of and adherence to Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices supporting a medical device environment
• Must be able to work independently, and provide guidance, training, and assignments to lower-level technicians
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
