Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Key Account Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key hospital accounts, laboratory customers, procurement teams, and healthcare professionals. Identify customer needs and develop account plans to maximize business opportunities.

2. Business Development & Market Expansion:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, new accounts, and strategic partnerships within assigned territories. Proactively exploring market potential, drive customer conversion projects, and increasing BD market penetration through effective value selling and stakeholder engagement.

3. Sales Performance & Business Development:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Identify business opportunities, drive product conversion, and expand market share for the assigned territory.

4. Tender & Contract Management:

  • Monitor tender opportunities and support tender preparation, submission, and follow-up activities. Work closely with distributors and internal stakeholders to maximize tender success and contract execution.

5. Distributor Management:

  • Manage assigned distributors to ensure effective market coverage and achievement of sales objectives. Conduct regular business reviews, forecasting, and inventory monitoring.

6.Customer Education & Product Promotion:

  • Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and training sessions for healthcare professionals, distributor sales teams, and customers. Support product evaluation and implementation activities.

7.Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing dynamics, and customer feedback. Provide timely market intelligence and business recommendations to management.

8.Business Planning & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate opportunity management and customer information in SFDC systems. Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews, and activity reports as required.

9. Compliance & Quality:

  • Ensure all business activities comply with BD policies, industry regulations, and company compliance requirements. Maintain high ethical standards in all customer interactions.

10. Interactions

  • Internal parties: Sales Leader, Product & Clinical Manager, Finance, Supply Chain, and other support functions.
  • External parties: Healthcare professionals, laboratory managers, hospital procurement teams, distributors, sub-distributors, and customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in medical devices, diagnostics/IVD, healthcare, laboratory products, or related industries. Proven track record in new business development, account acquisition, territory expansion, customer conversion, and achieving sales targets. Experience working with hospitals, laboratories, distributors, and tender business is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to open new accounts, win competitive conversions, and drive market share growth in a challenging market environment.
  • Strong business development and market expansion capabilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
