Job Description Summary
As a Field Service Engineer within BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS), part of the Global Customer Services (GCS) team, you will be responsible for the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and user training on our innovative medical technologies - including Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets and infusion devices. Your work ensures high customer satisfaction and full regulatory compliance of medical devices.
You will be the primary technical point of contact for customers in your region, with occasional assignments in the Netherlands, France, and Luxembourg.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment on customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to biomedical teams and end users.
- Manage your daily schedule and service activities autonomously, ensuring you have the necessary tools, spare parts, and equipment.
- Keep technical documentation up to date, accurately record service reports in customer service management systems, and meet contractual KPIs.
- Identify improvement opportunities, anticipate technical issues, and follow up on customer requests until full resolution.
- Strictly follow BD's quality, safety, and regulatory processes, as well as those of partner healthcare institutions.
- Primary territory: Belgium and Luxembourg, with occasional support required across the West Hub (France and the Netherlands).

Profile Requirements
- Based near Anvers.
- Minimum of a technical diploma (Bac+2) in electronic engineering, electrical engineering, GEII, MSMA, or equivalent field experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows systems and network technologies (CompTIA Network+ certification is an advantage).
- Languages: Dutch and French required.
- Good command of technical English (reading and writing).
- Experience with a CRM tool (Salesforce, SMAX) is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Proactive mindset and team spirit to collaborate efficiently with BD teams and customers.
Salary Range: €50,000 - €60,000
