Job Description

C Shift- 6:00am-6:00pm

Position Summary
The position will be responsible for all maintenance activities of electromechanical systems at our production site in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment as scheduled by PM program and / or as required by breakdowns.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, filter changes, etc., according to schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to component level when failures occur.
  • Provide technical support to Production in case repairs are not possible within reasonable time frame.
  • Support Engineering projects related to facility expansion, new installations, modification and improvement of existing processes.
  • Assist in the commissioning of new equipment.
  • Ensure that all maintenance works comply with safety regulations and local standards.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area.
  • Keep up-to-date records of all maintenance activities performed.
  • Report any abnormalities observed during the course of work.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum education required: High School Diploma.
  • Minimum years of experience required: 2 years' experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
  • Desirable education: Vocational Training in Industrial Electronics and Automatism.
  • Desirable experience: Previous experience working in medical device industry.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, technical processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, and control system theory.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, assembly hand tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in English.
