Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Quality core team member on design change projects.
  • Participate in design and development activities, providing quality input and ensuring adherence to design controls.
  • Support the development and maintenance of design and development files (DDFs) to ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management system (QMS) processes related to design control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Provide quality engineering support for CAPA activities, including performing investigations and implementation of actions, and executing verification of effectiveness (VOE) to ensure solutions are sustained and compliant with FDA/ISO and internal requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.

Job Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in medical device industry. Design controls experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of design controls and risk management (e.g., 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
