Job Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and cost-saving initiatives.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories, including requisition review, vendor selection, negotiation of terms and conditions, and contract finalization.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate supplier performance, and maintain a robust supplier database.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Operations, Finance) to understand their needs and ensure timely and quality delivery of procured items.
Monitor and analyze purchasing trends, spend data, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.

Resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, and quality concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentor and support junior team members as required.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed purchasing decisions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Indian procurement regulations and import/export processes is desirable.
