Job Description
The EHS Associate Specialist will support the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental, Health and Safety programs at CCT Critical Care Technologies, S.R.L., ensuring compliance with local and internal regulations and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying hazards and conducting occupational health and safety risk assessments.
- Collaborate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to EHS.
- Participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses, identifying root causes and proposing corrective and preventive actions.
- Support regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of EHS training programs for personnel.
- Assist in waste management and compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
- Maintain EHS-related records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS practices into daily operations.
- Stay updated on relevant EHS laws and regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of EHS laws and regulations in the Dominican Republic.
- Ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- EHS certifications (OSHA, IOSH, etc.) are a plus.
