As Associate Director, Finance, you'll combine technical expertise with strategic influence, overseeing core finance operations while partnering on transformation initiatives, acquisitions, and compliance. This is a senior leadership role with scope to develop into a future Finance Director - while working alongside an experienced FD who will mentor and support your growth.
Your Day-to-Day
- Lead core finance functions including Record to Report, Credit & Collections, statutory compliance, and internal controls
- Oversee general accounting, revenue recognition, tax, treasury, audits, and collections
- Partner with external advisors on complex compliance and technical matters
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a geographically dispersed finance team
- Collaborate across shared services and corporate functions in a complex matrix environment
- Evaluate capital investments for strategic alignment and financial viability
- Support finance transformation programs, M&A integration, and cross-functional initiatives
About You
You're an accomplished finance leader with a proven track record in managing complex, products-based businesses. You've spent at least 3-4 years as a Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller, position and you're ready for a role that offers broader scope, strategic influence, and leadership impact.
You'll bring:
- CA/CPA qualification with proven experience in financial control and leadership
- Background in a products-based business (MedTech, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar)
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Strong technical expertise in revenue recognition
- Ability to build and lead high-performing teams with a pragmatic, hands-on style
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities and a results-driven mindset
