Job Description Summary

The candidate will work closely with the SM Sales and Marketing Manager to achieve revenue and profitability targets. The primary goal is to drive sustainable and profitable sales growth in the SM segment by developing and implementing a robust sales strategy, including Key Account Management (KAM). This role requires effective collaboration with the Marketing, Application, and Service teams to ensure the successful execution of plans.

Develop Sales Plan: Create and implement a strategic sales plan for the BD SM segment to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Account Management: Oversee dedicated accounts to meet revenue goals, while identifying and pursuing additional growth opportunities aligned with team priorities.

Sales Forecasting: Utilize tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC) to manage and forecast sales pipelines effectively on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Sales Activities: Coordinate and manage various sales activities, including product training sessions for the sales team.

Customer and Partner Management: Engage with key opinion leaders and business partners, such as distributors and retailers, within the assigned territory to drive sales.

New Product Launch Support: Assist the team in launching new products, providing necessary support and feedback.

Product Knowledge: Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of BD SM products to promote them professionally.

Market and Sales Data Collection: Collect and analyze market and sales data, customer feedback, and market trends, and report findings to the manager in a timely manner.

Report Submission: Prepare and submit all required reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to track progress and performance.

Expense Management: Manage personal expenses responsibly, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.

Achieve Business Objectives: Consistently meet and exceed revenue and profit targets to support overall business goals.

Key Account Management: Effectively coordinate daily activities and engage with customers to manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Timely Reporting and Correspondence: Prepare and submit all required reports, plans, and handle correspondence promptly to maintain smooth operations. Goal Achievement: Execute action plans and achieve company goals established for the department, contributing to the team's success.

Ethical Standards: Uphold BD's ethical code and maintain high moral standards in all business activities, fostering a culture of integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor or above: any lab medicine related background preferred Over 5 ~10 years of working experience in medical industry sales Experience in Solution selling (not product selling) preferred Excellent product knowledge and expertise related to BD SM preferred Presentation skills Strong growth mind-set, learning agility, positive thinking and can-do attitude Good English in writing and speaking preferred Good level of competency in computer skills including MS office.
