Job Description Summary

The Account Manager role advances the reach and impact of Advanced Patient Monitoring technologies across community hospitals and emerging opportunity accounts. The focus is on identifying untapped potential, strengthening market presence, and supporting healthcare professionals with solutions that enhance patient outcomes in areas such as surgical recovery, hypotension management, sepsis, and shock management. The position works across a defined customer segment and contributes directly to expanding BD's Connected Care strategy within the Advanced Patient Monitoring portfolio. This position covers the Midlands and you will be expected to travel to customers four times a week.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Expansion of APM technology utilisation across community hospitals and opportunity accounts.
  • Identification of high-potential prospects in underrepresented or growing markets.
  • Development of productive relationships with anesthesiologists, surgeons, procurement, and other clinical contacts.
  • Delivery of product knowledge sessions and training to healthcare professionals.
  • Assessment of performance gaps and implementation of targeted regional actions to meet sales objectives.
  • Application of influencing skills that support buying decisions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordination of multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with consistent, high-quality execution.
  • Maintenance of accurate opportunity data in the CRM system for regular business reviews.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Progressive hospital sales experience.
  • Strong numerical capability and confidence interpreting data.
  • Proficient user of PowerPoint and Excel, with effective presentation skills.
  • Skilled communicator with evidence of building productive relationships and influencing purchasing decisions.
