Job Description:

We are seeking a high performing Vice President or Director to join our inbound coverage team focused on US subsidiaries of global multinational Japanese companies. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, relationship-driven environment and wants to deepen their strategic exposure to decision makers across treasury, capital markets and risk management.

We are hiring for a Director/VP who covers corporate clients of Japanese multinational companies. That person would primarily focus on prospects and partner closely with the team lead of Japan Desk driving growth and expansion of the US portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prospect to corporate clients of Japanese multinational companies.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives with targeted research, pitch development and senior level presentations
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline and contribute to business planning, forecasting and relationship review materials
  • Leverage insights from regulatory, tax and accounting developments relevant to foreign owned financial institutions operating in the US
  • Help mentor junior talent, promoting a high performance and collaborative team culture

Required skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified

  • Proficiency in English and Japanese
  • At least 5-7 years of corporate and investment banking or treasury service experience with exposure to corporates clients
  • Strong working knowledge of bank products and capital solutions
  • Exceptional client facing skills, confident communicator able to manage client interactions

Pay range

$250,000.00 - $250,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
