Responsibilities
- Handle complex data structures across multiple lines of business and acquiring in-depth knowledge and demonstrating impact in a timely manner.
- Analyze data and determining root causes and summarizing Regulatory/Policy impacts.
- Apply knowledge of Python to extract and digitalize data from word and PDF documents, allowing for expanded monitoring automation.
- Leverage Python's data imaging capabilities for use in strategy simulations, as well as evaluating numerous internal documents and summarize key themes to provide concentrated high priority items for review.
- Develop end to end Attribute Simulations scripts for different Lines of Business.
- Apply SAS skills to continually develop and monitor Consumer Underwriting strategies to ensure that the strategies and the data leveraged within those strategies are working as designed and intended.
- Translate complex business/system requirements into SQL coding to establish control monitoring.
- Create and execute testing solutions using SQL coding, TOAD, SAS & Bacardi.
- Identify Python data extract options to evaluate documents for control monitoring .
- Use Python, Selenium, Beautifulsoup and pdfminer packages to extract data and automate monitoring.
- Manipulate large data sets across complex data structures in coding tools using SAS and SQL coding.
- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related: and
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.
- Must include 4 years of experience in each of the following:
- Translating complex business/system requirements into SQL coding to establish control monitoring;
- Creating and executing testing solutions using SQL coding, TOAD, SAS, and Bacardi;
- Identifying Python data extract options to evaluate documents for control monitoring;
- Using Python, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and pdfminer packages to extract data and automate monitoring; and,
- Manipulating large data sets across complex data structures in coding tools using SAS and SQL coding.
