Responsibilities

  • Analyze user needs and reporting / analytics requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects.
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities.
  • Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.
  • Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
  • Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability.
  • Train system users in system operation or maintenance.
  • Partner with LOB and Product.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related: and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Supporting data systems through maintenance, modification, problem resolution, risk assessment, code migrations, architecture reviews and performance optimizations;
  • Translating business data requirements into technical data delivery workflows for large scale enterprises;
  • Developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflow solutions using Alteryx, SAS, and SQL to deliver data from multiple disparate sources for advanced analytics, validation, and reporting; and,
  • Utilizing Tableau data visualization tool to build data analytics dashboards.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$150,600.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
