Job Description:
The Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG), part of Bank of America Global Leasing, is seeking a Vice President, Leasing Officer specializing in Commercial Aircraft Marketing to support its U.S. aircraft financing and leasing business. CAG's existing aircraft leasing portfolio includes commercial aircraft operated by top-tier passenger and cargo airlines domiciled in the United States.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, responsible for executing CAG's business plan through the origination and execution of operating leases and secured debt products within the commercial aircraft sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing the Bank's aircraft financing and leasing capabilities
- Originating operating lease (sale-leaseback) and secured financing transactions directly with airlines
- Structuring and originating aircraft financing solutions for investors and aircraft lessors
- Managing bank club and syndication partners
- Executing aircraft trading transactions with lessors and tax investors
- Placing aircraft on operating lease following return from prior lessees
Relationship management responsibilities span a broad range of counterparties, including:
- Airline customers
- Aircraft lessors and trading partners
- Banks, financial institutions, and tax investors active in aircraft financing
Required Skills: "Must have these skills to be minimally qualified
- Minimum 5+ years of direct, relevant marketing experience within aircraft leasing or equipment financing
- Demonstrated track record of end-to-end transaction origination, negotiation, and execution
- Deep experience in secured debt structuring combined with strong operating lease knowledge
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions across structuring, documentation, and closing
- Willingness and ability to travel as required to support business needs

Preferred Skill Set
- Broad understanding of the commercial aircraft leasing market, including market pricing trends, lease rates, and aircraft values
- Experience preparing and leading direct pitches to clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical capability and commercial judgment
- Advanced transaction management skills including drafting letters of intent, leading documentation negotiations, and driving transactions through closing
- Detailed knowledge of operating lease documentation, including market-standard terms, technical considerations, return conditions, and ownership/title issues
- Solid understanding of structuring and pricing senior secured debt on aircraft
- Strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$112,500.00 - $152,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
