Job Profile Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and thoughtful professional to support Equity-wide AI initiatives and help gradually expand the use of AI across the Equities Technology organization. This role is well suited for someone who is organized, collaborative, curious, and passionate about AI, and who enjoys understanding problems, coordinating efforts, and contributing ideas and working solutions.
The person in this role will help identify where AI can be useful, organize and prioritize efforts, work closely with business and technology teams, and contribute to proof-of-concepts (POCs) that demonstrate value. This role success comes from partnership, steady execution, and thoughtful follow-through.
Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
- Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
- Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Automates manual release activities
- Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
- Help organize and coordinate AI-related initiatives across the Equities business.
- Work with stakeholders to understand needs, clarify priorities, and help determine what is worth working on and when.
- Support planning and tracking of AI initiatives to ensure ideas move forward in a structured and practical way.
- Act as a central point of coordination between business, data, and technology teams for AI-related work.
- Maintain a working understanding of the AI landscape, including Generative AI and traditional machine learning concepts.
- Participate in building simple proof-of-concepts (POCs) to test and demonstrate AI ideas.
- Help explain AI concepts in plain, practical terms and foster a collaborative, inclusive approach to AI adoption within Equities.
Required Qualifications:
- General experience or background in AI, data, analytics, or technology-enabled solutions.
- A genuine interest and passion for AI, with a desire to keep learning.
- Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and follow through.
- Comfort working in a team environment and partnering across functions.
- Some hands-on experience contributing to technical work (e.g., Python, data analysis, AI tools, or similar).
- Strong communication skills and a practical, grounded approach to problem-solving.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role
- Exposure to financial services or Equities, though not required.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or AI tools.
- Experience contributing to POCs or pilot initiatives.
- Understanding of enterprise environments and governance considerations.

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or relavant OR equivalent professional experience.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
