Process Overview

CFO Data Management India team was set up in 2023 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to CFO Data Management, part of Enterprise CFO functions, consolidating legacy functions of Finance Data Management and Treasury Data Management. The capabilities hosted include Data Analysis, Product specialists with understanding of underlying Data for Liquidity/ Regulatory Reporting, Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing and Finance Systems Support

Data Management team enables the Finance Organization and supports data needs of finance business users

The Data Management team is involved in various activities (including, but not limited to):

Regulatory Reporting Related Data Management Activities: Team support activities related to US and EMEA Regulatory reports, data validation and resolution of Data quality issues Team performs a critical role in providing centralized support for Global Banking and Market products (Treasury, Traded, Loans & Deposits etc.) data validation and analysis for internal and external Liquidity reporting. Team is engaged in activities such as validation of data for regulatory reports, data quality issue resolution, reconciliation with authoritative sources and posting adjustments. Team actively works on strategic initiatives aimed at improving the quality of numbers reported in regulatory reports Data Sourcing and provisioning: This includes defining and implementing data provisioning strategy to source the data from all lines of business into regulatory reports and management reports. Team is actively involved in sourcing initiatives where it works with various source systems, technology teams and report owners to source the data into regulatory reports as per regulator and stakeholder requirements.

Job Description


This job is responsible for data management COO activities which includes working closely with DM leaders to build the business updates, publishing internal dashboards understanding the organization priorities specific to each DM towers. Working closely with each tower leaders to drive engagement and priorities and continue to build storytelling.

Responsibilities

Individual will be required to lead and perform following responsibilities (this is an indicative list and could vary depending on business priorities)

  • Business Intelligence: Prepare Dashboard in Excel, Tableau or Power BI for various management reports.
  • Automation Strategy & Execution: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions for data acquisition, transformation, and reporting, significantly reducing manual effort and processing time.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current operational and reporting processes and recommend and implement automated solutions
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical findings and data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences using exceptional presentation skills
  • SharePoint Design, Automation & Governance
    • Design, develop, and manage SharePoint pages, sites, and tools to enable business processes and collaboration.
    • Build structured intake forms, request portals, and end-to-end workflows to automate approvals, task routing, and information capture using SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.
    • Administer SharePoint environments, including site architecture, access management, permissions, and role-based security.
    • Ensure effective document management through version control, metadata, retention, and compliance with organizational standards.
    • Drive continuous optimization and adoption of SharePoint solutions through automation, standardization, and Copilot-enabled capabilities in partnership with stakeholders.

Foundational skills

  • Strong expertise in SharePoint, advanced data analysis and visualization (Power Query, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for presenting in PowerPoint

Communication & Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey technical information to a business audience.
  • Excellent presentation skills; must be comfortable creating and delivering compelling presentations to senior management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in the use of the full MS Office Suite, with a focus on using Excel for advanced data handling and PowerPoint for professional report delivery.
  • A self-motivated, structured and logical thinker
  • Attention to detail, delivering high quality output
  • Strong assertiveness, listening, influencing and diplomacy skills

Desired skills:

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and other Microsoft tools.
