Process Overview

The Global Payment Operations (GPO) organization delivers global wire transfers and ACH payments for internal and external bank clients and supports end-to-end payment execution and investigations for transactions initiated through various channels. The team also provides sanctions screening on transactions for multiple products, in accordance with policies established by the Global Economic Sanctions Compliance team.

Global Payments Support & Enablement (GPSE) CoE is responsible for various Testing / Change Management engagements encompassing Payment platforms for EMEA, APAC, US and Canada regions. GPSE resources ensure Enterprise Change documentation and procedures are followed for compliance to the Change MRA2 governance.

Job Description


UAT Test Lead will be responsible to collaborate with BA/SME/PO, TDM, Change Manager and Development team to gather the scope of the project, analyze the requirements and come up with UAT test plan. As part of this role, associate also expected to design and execute functional & regression test cases for each test phase and identify valid defects during execution thus ensuring the quality of the platform under test. The candidate is also required to have hands-on experience in Test planning, Test Approach, test design, test execution and defect logging skills, has deeper working knowledge of payment processing/Investigations applications including GIN Application, its supporting applications/interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze the requirements / project scope

• Develop query log and arrange discussion with Test Lead or Test SME for clarifications

• Develop Test scenarios and Test scripts

• Peer reviews of the test scenarios and test scripts / enhancements to test scripts

• Test Data Preparation, Test script execution and maintain accurate status of test cases in testing tool (QC, qTest, Octane)

• Log defects with all required details, take part in defect triage meetings for resolution of issues related to defects

• Escalate the blockers and help needed items to applicable stakeholders

• Provide inputs for Reporting (Daily Status Report, Test Completion report etc.)

• Effort Estimation and Skill-set Identification

• Develop Test Plans and arrange walkthrough sessions with Teams across Dev, Test and Business

• Develop and Maintain Requirement Traceability matrix

• Ensure Test cases are reviewed and signed off by all stakeholders

• Update testing tool (for test cases and defects) and allocate to the team, track status and provide inputs wherever required

• Develop Go-Green plans when project is trending Red; Identify and escalate items which need help

• Participate in project calls and explain issues and help needed items
