Job Description:
This job is responsible for analyzing processes, documenting business case opportunities, and implementing process improvement/transformation initiatives in support of Operational Excellence objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting the execution of change initiatives which may result in cost efficiencies, quality, productivity, and risk mitigation. Job expectations include working with business leaders and subject matter experts, ensuring collaboration and transparency across integrated business and technology teams, and driving execution of solutions within the budget and timeline.

Line of Business Description

Responsible for supporting project and testing initiatives as a subject matter expert in an operations area. Engages with business partners to analyze, test, implement, and update processes as a result of projects, initiatives, and equipment changes in an operation involving large volumes of documents that are printed and rendered. Responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, and monitoring business processes and project objectives. Provides operational requirements to project managers and ensure they are met. Attend/Lead project calls and communicate with front line units, support partners, operations area, and management on project updates. Manages detailed task schedule during project implementation. Responsible for providing input for test plans and scripts and ensuring project objectives are met.

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with occasional weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Implements low to moderately complex solutions to address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, quality, and sustainability
  • Works directly with Line of Business partners to gather information needed to identify and implement solutions that resolve critical business challenges and opportunities
  • Establishes a model for continuous process improvement by applying process engineering best practices and delivering reusable technology solutions
  • Leverages analytics and critical thinking to solve complex business problems and translate issues into structured design oriented solutions with clearly defined business case benefits
  • Supports the development of enterprise change management deliverables for material projects including project charters, Suppliers, Inputs, Outputs, and Customers (SIPOC), Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) process maps, risk assessments, control plans, and related artifacts

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of operational change management experience
  • Exhibits excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills to effectively resolve complex issues.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities
  • Working knowledge of Agile project and testing management
  • Proficient in usage of Excel, PowerPoint and all other Microsoft applications
  • Flexibility to work off shift hours/days as required by the business

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of Business Process Management methodology & concepts
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Octane
  • Working knowledge of Nexus
  • Experience in a high speed production environment
  • Working knowledge of high speed roll to roll printing and insertion equipment
  • Working knowledge of automated document factory workflow application and concepts
  • Technical writing and communication skills
