Japan Asset Services team is responsible Corporate Actions processing for Japanese and Foreign Equity products. The role will act as a subject matter specialist, managing Corporate Actions processing and associated controls. The position involves daily interaction with traders, stock lending counterparties, exchanges, and internal stakeholders, and covers end-to end activities including event notifications, elections, entitlement processing, client inquiries, reconciliations and issue resolution including escalation with timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Process Corporate Action events accurately, timely, and consistently
Maintain robust controls across all daily operational activities
Manage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on Corporate Action matters
Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks on a daily basis, ensuring timely clearance
Respond promptly to client and internal inquiries and escalate issues as appropriate
Support change initiatives by contributing to process improvements and efficiency enhancements

Requirements:

Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
High attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
Strong control mindset with an understanding of operational risks and error impacts
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Business-level proficiency in both written and spoken English and Japanese
Demonstrates opnness to adopting AI and new technologies to improve operational efficiency and ways of working
* Prior experience in Securities Operations is preferred
