Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic candidate who is quantitative, analytical, proactive, a team player, able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints and has excellent attention to detail. This position requires daily liaison with many different groups across the organization and so, candidates must have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills. This is a trade support role and the candidate must demonstrate maturity and have a good understanding in the derivatives/equity sales and trading flows. The ideal candidate is preferred to have some trade support experience in a reputable Investment Bank, especially in Equities business area, Cash and Derivatives. Experience in managing issuance and lifecycle of Structured Notes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational trading/sales support for derivative/swaps/cash products and regulatory reporting
• Ensure transactions are booked into the trading system timely and reconciled accurately
• Provide resolutions to breaks
• Support the Sales and Trading Desks by investigating and resolving issues and enquiries related to trade processing, bookings and breaks etc

• Work closely with other Operations and Client Services teams to ensure timely settlement of trades
• Devise proactively control procedures to prevent operational risk to the firm
• Manage ad-hoc projects and liaise with both internal/external counterparts in different regions
• Solve problems/issues with various stakeholders

Requirements
• Ability to work in a pressurized, high volume, deadline-driven environment while maintaining operational excellence.
• Control focused with a good understanding of risk, P&L and the impact of errors.
• Able to initiate solutions, take ownership and drive issue remediation.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Able to envisage front-to-back flows with emphasis on ascertaining financial/regulatory impact
• Knowledge of financial markets with solid experience in Trade Support in a similar Investment Bank.

Essential Experience/Technical Knowledge:

• Proficiency in MS Product Suite i.e. Excel, Word etc.
• Knowledge on APAC equity markets and products preferable
• Bloomberg, Reuters and some corporate action background preferable
• Equities knowledge required with Equity Swap, Equity Derivatives, Structured Notes preferable.
• Alteryx, Copilot knowledge is a plus

• Degree qualification is essential
