Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Associate to support advisory coverage of publicly traded Financials companies for a global institutional client base. The role is highly collaborative and market-facing, requiring strong sector expertise, client engagement skills, and the ability to partner across the broader franchise to drive commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advisory coverage to global institutional investors, with a particular focus on sector-dedicated Financials investors.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in publicly traded Financials companies, including financial modeling, valuation, and industry dynamics.
  • Work closely with Trading, Research, Capital Markets, Financing, and broader Advisory teams to drive P&L, broker vote outcomes, and overall product engagement.
  • Produce and deliver a consistent stream of high-quality content for both internal stakeholders and external clients across multiple formats, including written materials, presentations, and in-person meetings.
  • Represent the franchise at BofA conferences, roadshows, and client events, requiring frequent travel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in equity research and/or institutional sales on the sell-side; buy-side experience is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Financials sector, including company fundamentals, financial modeling, and broader industry context.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate investment views and market insights to sophisticated institutional clients.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.

Pay range

$175,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
