Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Code solutions, perform unit tests, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.
- Contribute to story refinement/define requirements.
- Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
- Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
- Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
- Utilize multiple architectural components in design and development of client requirements.
- Analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors.
- Triage the underlying cause.
- Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
- Handle FICC Emerging Markets deliveries including algorithm development, strategic framework development.
- Provide intraday/EOD supports to the desk to help facilitate workflow.
- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any), or related: and
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
- Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide web applications using Python, SQL, NoSQL data bases, RESTful APIs, Connectivity protocols for streaming financial data and React JS;
- Designing test driven automation frameworks using middleware technologies including SOAPUI, REST, XML, and JSON;
- Enhancing and improving existing business applications including core frameworks, trade blotters, and management reporting tools;
- Engineering and designing continuous integration, continuous deployment, build tool, version control, and test-driven development tools;
- Building internal products and tools using Python/UI interaction Design/Database interaction and data ETL/automation and alert system design; and,
- Assisting all support units on inquiries within the team, other internal tech and business teams regarding products and data usage.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$156,300.00 - $166,300.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
