Job Description:

The Assistant Vice President, Credit Service Representative serves as a Facility Agent, responsible for managing and overseeing the servicing and operational aspects of syndicated and bilateral loan facilities. This role ensures accurate execution of loan transactions, compliance with governing agreements, and timely resolution of issues, while providing exceptional support to internal stakeholders and external counterparties.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Facility Agent, manage the end-to-end daily processes for Syndicated Finance transactions, including drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixings, settlements, fee calculations, and reconciliations
  • Provide operational support to Front Office partners across Leveraged Finance, Leasing, Asset-Backed Lending, and Global Corporate & Investment Banking
  • Exercise sound judgment in decision-making and seek guidance when appropriate
  • Proactively identify and resolve borrower, lender, and agency-related issues within the assigned portfolio
  • Coordinate and execute loan closings for new deals and amendments in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in facility agency functions or lending operations
  • Strong understanding of credit products, the syndication process, and governing documentation, including complex agreements
  • Familiarity with Loan IQ is an advantage
  • Foundational understanding of commercial credit agreements and syndicated lending is advantageous
  • Experience in project management and/or possession of a relevant certification
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Ability to think critically and maintain a healthy level of professional skepticism
  • Collaborative team player with accuracy and independence, demonstrating ownership and initiative to drive results
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new responsibilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate-level Excel skills preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels and functions
