Job Description:
The Application Production Services & Engineering (APSE) organization meets the needs of Bank of America's clients and employees by working alongside development technology teams to design, implement and support cutting-edge applications and infrastructure. Our APSE teams provide application support services and engineering, alongside Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) team to ensure availability of services such as network, cloud and compute capacity, enterprise storage and databases used to host trading applications, payment systems, mobile applications, and other end-user applications. Additionally, our APS&E teams also provide non-technical services such as market data services & operations, business operations, portfolio & infrastructure delivery project management, incident, change and problem management.
Our focus is on providing our clients with innovative, safe, and secure solutions by leveraging the most advanced technology tools, coupled with the creativity of our technology teams. Performs commoditized activities which may include monitoring, event management, service requests, and engineering. Technical Analysts will build foundational experience in network, systems, application, access requests, production support, or security engineering.

Skills exposure/Opportunity to work in areas such as:
- Production Support: L1/L2 support, ITIL, Incident Management, IBM WebSphere, Mainframe, Unix, Autosys, Dynatrace, Splunk, Triage, incident coordination, log analysis
Responsibilities:
Candidates will get an opportunity to work with APS&E, Performance Engineering & Capacity Management group for analyzing performance/capacity/tools development of multiple applications in an agile environment.
- Provides support to end users responding to issues related to Incidents and Problem Management, for multiple applications, with the primary focus on triage leadership of all business impacting incidents.
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with the Incident Management and Problem Management policies and procedures. This role is the key focal point for the customer/client/associate experience and owns restoring any impacts to those experiences regardless of where the root cause of the impact lies.
- Application Monitoring - Respond to alerts & incidents, and escalate in a timely manner
- Understand the basic functionality of Business and its dependent upstream and downstream requirements - work with key stakeholders to ensure that the business queries are answered and resolved within defined SLA
- Working to resolve problems and incidents of varying complexity to enable smooth operation
- All aspects required to process batch production within application services
- Proactively monitor application availability, performance, response time, exceptions, faults and failures using a range of proprietary as well as third party monitoring tools
- 24/7 Production control to ensure applications are available and running at peak efficiency
- Provide usage trend analysis and status reports
- Be part of incident Triages, provide relevant information and proper communication to stakeholders
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: Eligible Final year students from the Class of 2026 ONLY
- Degree Type: BTech, B.E
- Major Specialization: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems
- CGPA: 80% in the last semester OR CGPA of 8 on a scale of 10 in the last semester with no pending backlogs
Certifications: Good to have if any
Work Experience: No work experience, freshers only
Foundational skills: Good to have a background or knowledge in programming / scripting (e.g., Python, XML, JavaScript, Windows PowerShell), basic operating system commands (e.g., Windows / Linux) and databases (e.g. SQL), and analyzing datasets (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.), Cloud DevOps skills.
Desired Skills:
- Java / J2EE, .NET, C#, VB .Net, ASP.NET, IIS and Azure, Unix, Linux, Shell Scripting, AutoSys, Mainframe, JCL, CA7 etc.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure i.e. Networks, Storage, Unix systems
- Knowledge of ITSM / ITIL processes with good production support mind-set
- Basic understanding of SQL queries and databases (MSQL, Oracle etc.)
- Understanding of SRE capabilities, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Perfmon, LoadRunner Enterprise- LRE (Performance Center) etc
- Good analytical skills, problem solution mindset and ability to recognize areas for automation and optimization
- Learning - ability to pick up new skills and functionalities and work independently
- Have the willingness and aptitude to work in global distributed teams

Additionally, our CTI teams also provide non-technical services such as business management, infrastructure delivery project management, and business risk control.

Performs commoditized activities which may include monitoring, event management, service requests, and engineering. - Infrastructure Support: Infra support, provisioning asset lifecycle, monitoring tools, Network routing, switching, Splunk, Windows server admin, Linux, VMware, Firewall, Shell scripting
Responsibilities:
Responsible for deploying and supporting core infrastructure that underpins the daily operations of the entire bank, from networks, hosting, cloud platforms and mainframe. You will also work with various platform teams and Business Technology Groups to help build out automated processes.
Work within and across various teams within Global Technology to manage bank's core infrastructure in one of the following teams:
- Hosting, Application & Database Services: Infrastructure capacity planning, Windows/ Unix/ Cloud Operations, Storage and Database Management
- Network Services: Internal/ External Network Management, Network Service Assurance
- Business Operations: Business Management, Financial Management, Risk and Controls
- Datacenter Services and Portfolio Management: Datacenter Projects and Operations, Infrastructure Project Management
- Mainframe Services: Mainframe Engineering and Operations
Other responsibilities include the following:
- Manages and prioritizes assigned tasks
- Executes procedures reliable, responds with urgency, and escalates appropriately to senior team members
- Opens triage bridge line, updates bridge board, engages teams as required
- Monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
- Maintains solutions that are aligned to security, redundancy, and archiving blueprints and strategies
- Supports client onboarding
- Proactively ensures the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability within a technical domain
- Responsible for event management and request fulfilment
- Supports change activities
- Writes and maintains documentation
