What you'll do:
* Drive continuous improvements to quality assurance processes for large-scale systems, defining and implementing test strategies.
* Write clear and comprehensive test plans, translating end-user requirements into fully documented test cases and automated scripts.
* Design, develop, and apply automation solutions while evaluating and nurturing the skills of Quality Engineers.
* Provide detailed status reports on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered, and fixed.
* Define holistic quality approaches for large client engagements, constantly evaluating ongoing processes for improvements.
* Collaborate with the Quality Engineering community, exploring new automation tools and methods, while building reusable assets.
* Effectively manage multiple projects, recruit talented individuals, and mentor team members to drive positive action and accountability.
Skills and experiences:
* Experience in software quality and testing methodologies.
* Write automated tests for smoke, integration, and regression tests using modern tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
* Write API tests using SOAP UI, Karate, Rest-Assured, requests, Parasoft SOA test, Postman, etc.
* Strong understanding of BDD & TDD.
* Experience using any source control systems like GIT, TFS, SVN, and test management tools including Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), Zephyr, or AzureDevOps (ADO).
* Experience in CI/CD processes and tools - ADO pipelines, Jenkins, etc., as well as experience in cloud environments, preferably on Azure.
* Define robust test automation architecture and apply and evolve open-source frameworks
