Position Overview

Autodesk is building an AI-first application platform that delivers a cohesive, unified experience across our products-improving how users and internal teams work in a modern, workflow-driven workspace.

Join our team in Pune to build backend services and platform capabilities used at scale. You'll work closely with product and engineering partners to ship incremental improvements, improve reliability, and help shape the next generation of Autodesk's platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs using Typescript/Python
• Work with partners across teams to define data models, service contracts, and integration patterns
• Deliver features iteratively with product owners, architects, and engineers
• Operate and support services in production with strong observability (logging, metrics, alerts)

Minimum qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with TypeScript/Nodejs/Python
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills
• Experience building and running services on cloud (preferably AWS)
• Understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, code reviews, performance, security)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualification

• Experience building AI-assisted or workflow automation features (including agent-style workflows)
• Exposure to Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, or other ML/LLM platforms
• Familiarity with LLM application patterns (tool calling, RAG, evaluation, guardrails)
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and/or platform engineering
