Position Overview

As a UX Designer with Autodesk, you will be pivotal in evolving the next generation of MES and digital factory functionality within Autodesk Fusion. Based in Toronto, Canada, you'll collaborate closely with skilled UX designers and cross-functional teams including Product Management, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Content Development, and Quality Assurance. You will define customer experience strategies and create design solutions that not only delight users but also meet business objectives and deadlines. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with significant impact and visibility.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic direction of projects and features from a customer experience perspective.
• Maintain active contact with customers and prepare design assets for use in user research and data analysis.
• Assist in translating this data into new capabilities and features.
• Distill customer needs into a set of capabilities that provide maximum benefit.
• Integrate business goals, market needs, design opportunities, and technical constraints into high-caliber product designs.
• Design and evaluate alternative solutions to identify the best approach
• Visualize and prototype solutions, collaborating with customers and internal partners to validate conceptual designs.
• Deliver comprehensive design documentation to support internal stakeholders
• Measure, document, and communicate the tangible benefits of customer-centered design
• Participate in design review sessions, offering and receiving constructive feedback to enhance your design skills

• 5+ years of relevant commercial UX experience
• Current portfolio of commercial UX project work (CVs submitted without a portfolio will not be considered)
