Position Overview

We're seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our Field Delivery team, where you'll design thoughtful, human-centered experiences that support users working across mobile, web, and emerging agentic interfaces in the construction field. This role focuses on solving real-world, workflow-driven problems for customers operating in dynamic, often complex environments.

You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research partners to drive design strategy and execution, elevate product quality, and deliver intuitive, reliable experiences across devices. As a senior member of the team, you'll influence product direction, advocate for users, and help evolve how we design for modern, multi-surface experiences. Curiosity and excitement about exploring new interaction models, including agentic experiences, are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute UX design work from concept through implementation across mobile, web, and agentic experiences
  • Design end-to-end workflows that support Field Delivery use cases, balancing usability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Translate user research, product strategy, and technical constraints into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Partner closely with product managers, developers, researchers, and fellow designers to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and deliver high-quality user experiences
  • Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing to validate assumptions and inform design decisions
  • Create and maintain clear design documentation to support implementation and alignment
  • Present design work and rationale to stakeholders, clearly articulating decisions, tradeoffs, and user impact
  • Champion best practices in UX, accessibility, and inclusive design across the product lifecycle
  • Contribute to team culture through critique, collaboration, and mentorship

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional UX or product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design work
  • Required experience designing for both mobile and web products, including complex, real-world workflows
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end design processes, from discovery and ideation through delivery
  • Strong proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex user needs and business requirements into intuitive, effective solutions
  • Experience planning, conducting, and applying user research and usability testing
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing agentic, AI-assisted, or emerging interaction models
  • Experience designing for enterprise or workflow-heavy SaaS products
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices
  • Experience working on products that support field-based or operational users

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $94,000 and $137,500. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
