Autodesk's Growth Experience Technology (GET) organization is seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers who are responsible for building brand new customer success offerings. This engineer will collaborate within a high-performing Scrum team where the code, infrastructure, and services you develop will have a direct, positive impact on millions of users of our products. This experience is key to our business and one of our top initiatives around transformation and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- You will design, code, test, debug, document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs
- Write high quality code following Test-driven development
- Create and participate in code, document reviews, mentoring juniors in best practices
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, Support and product organizations on technical issues
- Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved
- Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems
- Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems
- Contribute to the design and architecture to allow secure, scalable, and maintainable software

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience in Node, React and other JavaScript Frameworks
- Knowledge of public cloud service platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge in server-less technologies such as AWS Lambda
- Knowledge with container frameworks (Docker) and CD frameworks
- Experience with micro services and RESTful web services
- Experience with scrum and agile development processes and methodologies
- Proactive, quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skills

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
