Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in web and backend application development. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software, thrives in a collaborative team environment, takes ownership of long-term projects, and is passionate about fostering cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern web technologies and frameworks
- Implement Micro Frontends (MFE) to enhance the modularity and scalability of web applications
Microservices & High-Throughput Applications
- Architect, develop, and optimize microservices-based solutions to support high-throughput and low-latency requirements
- Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability through efficient design patterns and best practices
Cloud & Containerization
- Deploy and manage applications in an AWS environment, leveraging AWS services for scalability and resilience
- Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring seamless deployment and management of microservices
Production Support
- Provide production support by monitoring live applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution of production incidents
- Collaborate with operations teams to optimize system performance, minimize downtime, and maintain service reliability
- Implement proactive measures to identify potential issues and enhance system resilience
Collaboration & Agile Practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to deliver high-quality software
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior team members, and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Embrace agile methodologies to drive iterative development and continuous delivery
Problem-Solving & Innovation
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive innovative solutions
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies to continuously enhance architecture and application performance
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining microservices-based architectures
- Hands-on experience with Micro Frontend (MFE) development and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Solid understanding and practical experience with AWS services and deployment best practices
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS)
- Experience in building high-throughput and low-latency systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile development practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to mentor and lead junior developers
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Familiarity with additional programming languages and frameworks is a plus
- Python experience is a plus
