We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to join our energetic Fusion Data team in Canada and help us build full stack solutions on MFGDM (Manufacturing Data Model) which provides core functionalities to the Autodesk Cloud Flagship Product - Fusion. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on craftsperson, with extensive back end development experience, that is open and enthusiastic about learning and working across the technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of an Agile, multi-site team on the MFGDM Core project for Fusion
- Implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and fixing bugs as they arise, in both the backend API as well as Fusion Desktop
- Helping with feature design, and translating design and product requirements into engineering tasks
- Understanding product and business requirements as a foundation for making technical decisions
- Maintaining a high standard of code quality by following best practices around testing, code reviews, and design patterns
- Understanding and championing Agile SCRUM methodologies, principles and values within the team.
- Providing leadership and mentorship to more junior members of the team
- Collaborating and aligning with remotely located teams involved in the project

Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Expert knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, NodeJS
- Experience with and working knowledge of GraphQL
- Exposure to C++ and React (Good C++ is a strong advantage)
- Creative and user-centric thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiar and enthusiastic about writing well-tested applications (unit tests, functional tests, etc.)

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $98,600 and $144,650. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
