Position Overview
Are you passionate about shaping the future of infrastructure and driving digital transformation at scale?
We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to lead Autodesk's engagement and growth across large infrastructure projects in EMEA, with a primary focus on the UK market.
In this role, you'll combine strategic industry insight with strong commercial acumen to identify, shape, and win complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities across the transport, energy, utilities, and public sector infrastructure landscape. You will partner with project owners, governments, and major contractors to help define and deliver the digital transformation agenda that underpins next-generation infrastructure delivery.
This is a high-impact role for a proven senior seller who can balance strategic influence with strong sales execution - driving measurable growth while positioning Autodesk as a trusted partner across the infrastructure ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Drive Sales Growth and Execution
- Meet and exceed annual and multi-year revenue targets across the infrastructure sector
- Identify, qualify, and close high-value sales opportunities across large, complex customer environments
- Develop and execute pursuit and account strategies that align Autodesk's solutions to customer business outcomes
- Manage full sales cycles - from early opportunity identification through to contract close
- Partner closely with Named Account and Industry teams to expand Autodesk's footprint and drive adoption
Lead Ecosystem and Mega-Project Engagement
- Engage early with public sector owners, policy makers, and private consortia to influence project direction and technology standards
- Drive Autodesk's participation in major national and regional infrastructure programs, ensuring our solutions enable successful digital delivery
- Collaborate with key ecosystem partners - including engineering firms, contractors, and associations - to scale impact and advocacy
- Support the establishment of digital delivery mandates, enabling customers to set standards for efficiency and sustainability
Build Strategic Relationships
- Establish trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including government leaders, project owners, and C-suite customers
- Represent Autodesk at key industry events, conferences, and policy discussions
- Act as a thought leader on digital transformation and the future of infrastructure delivery
Collaborate Across Autodesk
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Development, NA & MM Sales, Marketing and Consulting to align go-to-market execution
- Share customer insights and market intelligence to inform Autodesk's regional strategy and investment priorities
- Contribute to repeatable sales plays, industry narratives, and best practices that scale across EMEA
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience within the AECO or infrastructure industry
- Proven record of success in large, complex deal execution across public and private sector environments
- Deep understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles, procurement frameworks, and public-private partnership models
- Strong knowledge of digital design, construction, and asset management processes
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align ecosystems of stakeholders - from owners and contractors to government bodies
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
- Ability to travel across the UK and EMEA (approximately 30-40%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within transport, rail, road, water, or energy infrastructure sectors
- Familiarity with Autodesk's digital construction and infrastructure solutions or equivalent technology portfolios
- Strategic thinker with exceptional commercial judgment and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across virtual and global teams
