Position Overview
This role will be responsible for managing a team of Sales Professionals, Business Development Resources and Technical Pre-Sales resources. The team's focus will be on closing new business to grow Autodesk's Construction Cloud Footprint. You will accomplish this by using both direct sales and a channel sales ecosystem including closing deals directly by client engagement. You will use a strategic approach like other SaaS businesses to create compelling events through Autodesk's unique value. You will work as part of a team to identify and define customer goals, develop solution proposals, set appropriate expectations, and coordinate hand offs to the implementation teams. You will build relationships internally and externally with strategic clients by coordinating all available resources allowing your team to exceed customer expectations and drive hyper growth.
Responsibilities
- Understand people management, including hiring, coaching, driving results and managing the team for day-to-day performance and compliance
- Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual revenue goals together with driving strategic plans
- Forecast revenues and build a pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Manage the progress of sales opportunities throughout the sales process, including pipeline development, management, and forecasting
- Develop and implement a territory sales strategy to balance solutions, run rate and services bookings through direct and channel sales management
- Present technical/value propositions both to an internal audience and external audience
- Propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; develop and negotiating contracts; integrate contract requirements with business operations
- Communicate with and coordinate the activities of teams through collaboration
- Understand and keep current on competitive and business environment in the construction market
- Screen potential solution sales by technical requirements, potential, and financials; evaluate options
- You will update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations
- Travel to meet goals

Minimum Qualifications
- You will have experience managing a sales territory through both direct and indirect sales across India region
- You will have at least 10 years' experience prospecting and establishing relationships with AEC customers
- You will have 5+ years' experience in a hyper growth SaaS environment.
- 5+ years previous Team Management experience
- You are an expert in the domains of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) software industry
- Closing skills, motivation for sales, prospecting skills, sales planning, selling to customer needs, territory management, market knowledge, energy level, meeting sales goals, professionals
- Team building skills
- Experience with solutions selling and team selling
