You will support one or more product organizations, working closely with Communications Business Partners, Chiefs of Staff, and cross-functional partners to execute high-quality content across enterprise channels.

This is an excellent role for someone who is curious, collaborative, and motivated to continuously improve their storytelling skills. You'll have access to a supportive Internal Communications Center of Excellence community, shared templates and playbooks, and AI-enhanced workflows to help elevate your craft.

Day-to-day, your work will be roughly 40% execution, 30% strategy, and 30% responding to team needs.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and publish employee-facing communications across Slack, email, SharePoint, and Autodesk's intranet
  • Maintain an internal editorial calendar and manage Product Organization-owned communication channels
  • Develop content for newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and internal events
  • Use generative AI tools responsibly to speed up drafting, explore messaging options, and improve clarity
  • Support Product Organization All Hands and internal events (content, agendas, scripts, logistics)
  • Translate complex business information into clear, accessible, engaging content to drive business goals
  • Surface Product Organization stories that highlight impact, customer value, and progress
  • Partner with Communication Business Partners and Chiefs of Staff to ensure alignment to strategy and priorities
  • Apply communications playbooks, templates, and workflows for consistency and quality
  • Work with cross-functional partners (HR, Legal, Product, etc.) to gather information and approvals
  • Monitor performance using communications dashboards and channel analytics
  • Use insights to refine messaging and improve employee engagement
  • Participate in learning sessions, peer reviews, and shared practice forums

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in internal communications, employee communications, or related fields
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor content for different audiences
  • Experience creating internal communications across modern channels and platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead multiple projects independently
  • A growth mindset - curiosity, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn new tools
  • Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted workflows (you don't need to be an expert; just open to it)
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and enthusiasm for helping make the work - and the team - better

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting product, engineering, or operational teams
  • Familiarity with change communications and employee engagement practices
  • Experience with analytics dashboards or measurement tools
  • Prior use of generative AI for drafting, research, or content planning

The Ideal Candidate

  • Clear, high-quality communications delivered reliably and on time
  • Strong relationships and trust with business partners, leaders, other communicators, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated improvement in channel engagement and employee understanding
  • Consistent use of communications standards, templates, and AI-enabled workflows
  • Meaningful contributions to shared learning and the evolving practices of the Global Communications organization
