You will join the Platform Organization within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division, working on the core components that power the Fusion 360 family. As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll help advance our mission to improve developer productivity, ensure cross-platform device independence, and deliver a consistent, scalable software platform.

Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on user interface and client-facing components for Fusion 360, as well as underlying logic. You'll gain mentorship from experienced engineers while contributing to a supportive, collaborative, and diverse team, building skills to become a productive and impactful contributor.
You will:
- Participate in technical design and code reviews.
- Design, implement, test, and maintain infrastructure components and user-facing features based on stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with a team of software engineers, QA engineers, and designers in Toronto and other worldwide engineering sites.
- Develop estimates for tasks and evaluate risks and dependencies to aid in planning.
- Receive mentorship and coaching from seasoned engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Prior internship experience (preferably 1 or 2 terms of experience)
- Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with web-based technologies and constructs
- Commitment to learning and self-development in both technical and non-technical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team to achieve team goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, React, and Redux
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Knowledge of unit testing and automated testing (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD using Jenkins and Git
- Experience in C++ and Typescript
- Interest in AI technologies
