Position Overview

Are you enthused by the 'Design & Make' trend? Do you want to enable educators and students to teach and learn the newest tools around cloud-based design and collaboration in Additive/Subtractive Manufacturing and Generative Design, Architecture, Engineering and construction? If so, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving awareness and adoption of our newest Autodesk technologies within the Ministry of Education ecosystem throughout India. You will develop effective working relationships with Government representatives within the educator sector who work with Heads of School, Department Chairs, educators and administrators. Your role will be to help these decision makers understand the value proposition of Autodesk technology in the classroom by creating visibility for and understanding of the Autodesk platform vision. Doing this work successfully requires you to have strong relationship building and communication skills, an ability to spot strategic opportunities and demonstrate the value of our offerings, be comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously, and show passion to drive toward expansion and growth of our footprint in India as a trusted partner in Design and Make Education. We work in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ability to earn customer respect as a trusted advisor and thought leader
  • Work alongside key strategic Departments including Ministry of Education stakeholders to drive adoption of Autodesk technology.
  • Understand customer needs, limitations and the ecosystems within which they operate, and which therefore influence business decisions
  • Drive (as well, Support Education team) efforts in the development and delivery of special education government thought leadership events, training and on-campus activities, involving Autodesk Learning Partners
  • Develop program plans and execute against them, monitor business performance against the plans including strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)
  • Work with marketing and product management divisions to understand technical trends, thought leadership messaging and ongoing product updates
  • Collaborate with Autodesk Government Affairs team and help drive the future direction of Autodesk Education in partnership with select government entities
  • Leverage team and Autodesk Learning Partners' technical expertise in appropriate software workflows
  • Provide timely reports on progress toward goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • BE degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business, PhD or MBA helpful
  • 7+ years domain knowledge and experience working in Public Sector- Education
  • Knowledge of 3D Design software: Autodesk Fusion, Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or Revit, ArchiCAD, Bentley or other competitive products
  • Understanding of the India Education system.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with Ministry of Education, education customers and industry partners
  • Confident at presenting and discussing industry workflows and practices as well as their application in the academic environment
  • Proven ability to influence others and drive results in a matrix organization
  • Ability to build rapport with a wide variety of internal and external constituents
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to explain issues in a clear, concise, and logical manner
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a geographically distributed group
  • Ability to travel 40% of time to educational institutions, conferences and other education-related events
