During your 12-month industrial placement in our Sheffield office, you'll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to grow your engineering expertise-while making real contributions to Autodesk's BIM Collaborate Pro product. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, designers, and product experts to build new features, using modern web technologies in a collaborative, agile environment. Alongside technical growth, you'll also develop professional skills and build connections with other placement students and interns across EMEA and globally.

• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design through to release
• Work on React-based front-end applications
• Collaborate with your team in our Agile (Kanban) development methodology
• Gain insight into modern software development practices within a global organization

• Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a software development-related degree and available for a 12-month industrial placement starting Summer 2026
• Please state your expected graduation month and year in your application
• Open-minded, motivated to learn new concepts and ideas
• Interest or exposure to JavaScript and TypeScript
• Familiarity with software design principles

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React)
• Exposure to Agile development practices
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
