DB2 DBA Job DescriptionManage DB2 Mainframe databases adhering to company regulations and security standards. Assist with testing of new/improved systems, as well as product upgrades. Attend meetings and interact regularly with management and the Team.• Participate in Disaster Recovery Exercises.AT jobs regularly.• Participate in Disaster Recovery Exercises.• Provide database support to client Applications• Provide database support to client Applications.• Participate in Disaster Recovery Exercises.• Provide database support to client Applic and clients to continuously improve services. Bachelor's degree/technical certification in Computer Science or related field or 5 - 7+ years of Mainframe DB2 Database Administration experience. DB2 Requirements,1.Must have DB2 DB Design experience(Logical/Physical).2.Must have DB2 Upgrade Support experience and must have worked on DB2 V10,V11 and V12.3.Must have Performance Tunning Experience with Mainframe Batch.4.Must have experience on Performance Tunning of CICS Transactions and setup.5.Must have DB2 Connect ODBC/JDBC Setup experience/Troubleshooting.6.Must have experience in Stored Procs, Triggers, UTS Conversions.7.Must have experience in REXX, CA Platinum & BMC Tools, Omegamon, SYSVIEW etc.8.Experience with DR Exercise.9.Must have production support experience with solving production utility failures and other application issues.Verbal and written proficiency in English.• Experience in working closely with client account teams. • Strong communications skills required for daily client interfacing.• Participation in On-Call rotation schedule as required.• Required to work onsite with the client at the client location. • Experience with DB2 version 10 and the new capabilities of version 11. • Project Management skills are a plus.TBC
