Senior Financial Analyst

Introduction to the Job

As the financial business partner for the Cymer DUV Factory teams, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting factory priorities and objectives. This position involves building strong relationships across all levels of management and providing financial insights that drive strategic decisions. The analyst will gather, analyze, and summarize data to prepare recommendations for annual financial plans and quarterly forecasts, while continuously improving reporting quality and automation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review operating expenses, capital expenditures, and headcount to identify variances and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Develop monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, forecast updates, scenario modeling, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Partner with business stakeholders during monthly and quarterly close processes to communicate forecast changes.
  • Establish and maintain databases of relevant financial information for analysis and reporting.
  • Manage the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and controls for special studies and complex financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with assigned teams to create tools, metrics, and analysis that drive targeted financial performance.
  • Lead automation efforts and continuously improve the quality of financial reporting.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial theory and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) required.
  • Experience with Oracle/Hyperion preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience with factory reporting is a plus.

  • Strong financial management and analytical skills to influence strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data, presenting conclusions effectively in written and verbal formats.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and reporting tools.

Other Information
  • Flexible work arrangements may be available under ASML's U.S. Flexible Work policy, subject to manager approval.
  • Occasional international travel may be required (approximately 5-10%).
  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and using hands for keyboarding and handling objects.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$87,750-146,250
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
