Senior Applications Engineer
Introduction to the job
As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will enable business growth and customer adoption of ASML's advanced lithography solutions by leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge in a collaborative environment. You will provide solutions to complex lithography application challenges, focusing on optimizing ASML scanner performance and enhancement options. Using your experience and analytical skills, supported by a global ASML network, you will identify opportunities to improve on-product performance and troubleshoot issues related to ASML's product portfolio in close collaboration with customers.
This role offers significant scope and impact, providing opportunities to deepen technical expertise or advance into leadership roles.
Roles and responsibilities
- Participate and/or lead projects which are aimed at supporting our customer transition to a new technology node or ramp up a specific technology node.
- Own workstreams within a larger project and able to develop and drive autonomously a project plan and chase a successful execution with regular updates to relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Education and experience
- Master's degree or PhD in a technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years work experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 5 years experience within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience with utilizing MATLAB, Python, JMP, or similar software.
- Minimum 3 years experience in data analysis and analyzing technical data to summarize and present findings
- Extensive experience with stakeholder and change management.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with different stakeholders internally (Account Team, Business Development Managers, Project team, VHV headquarter, etc.) and external customers.
Other information
- Up to 10% travel is include in the job for training and x-site support.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
