Job Summary
ASML is seeking a senior production engineer for our Wilton Factory. This person will provide advanced technicaloversightfor manufacturing processes, new product introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role manages complex projects, mentors junior engineers, and ensures alignment with organizational goals, driving scalability, innovation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Review/Present structural improvements for recurring issues and implement advanced Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Champion automation and digital factory solutions for efficiency gains.
- Drivelarge-scale Lean and Six Sigma improvement initiatives.
- IdentifyCapital equipment needed for KPI improvements.
ManufacturingExcellence
- Defineand implementlong-term process solutionsaligned with businessobjectives.
- Drivestandardization and scalability of workflowsacross production areas.
- Ensureappropriate AIRcreation/maintenanceand drive throughIssueResolution process.
- Role modelcompliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
ProcessGovernance
- Adhere togovernance frameworks for tracking/drivingKPIs and compliance with operational standards.
- Developing governance around process improvements
New Product Introduction
- Driveindustrializationactivities aligned to the roadmapwithin the workcenterfor new products andanticipatefactory readiness gaps.
- Support TL/PL/GL inexecutive-level reviews
- Drivethe design and development ofproduction tooling, qualification tests, and equipment calibration.
Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Lead technical support alongsideFirst Line Support (FLS) foradvanced/integrated production issues, includingthedevelopment of troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
- Ensures allescalatedworkcenter disturbances arecontained,rootcause isidentifiedandmitigate anyrepeatoccurrences.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degreein Engineering with5+ yearsof manufacturing experience or a Masters Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in cross-functional environments and process optimization.
- Experience working with NPI within a production environment
PreferredTechnicalSkills
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and advanced continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fimiliaritywith CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX).
- Familiarity with automation technologies, digital factory solutions, and data analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
- Advancedindata analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or similar statistical software).
- Experiencedwith ERP/MES systems and global industrialization strategies.
