Internship - Learning Specialist - Summer 2026
Introduction

Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.
This position is located on-site in Wilton, Connecticut. You would be supporting Wilton Factory Learning & Knowledge Management group and its diverse group of stakeholders.
This internship will last approximately 12 weeks through Summer 2026.
Your assignment
As a Learning & Knowledge Management Intern, you will support continuous improvement initiatives within the Training group and design & deploy solutions aimed at supporting training demand within Wilton Factory.
You will work with cross-functional stakeholders and Learning & Knowledge Management Team to understand the exact business needs and challenge the current ways of working.
In addition, you will get a chance to
- Recognize key stakeholders and formulate partnerships.
- Demonstrate adult learning knowledge theory
- Identify training and learning skills needs across different level, and advise key stakeholders on best practices for learning (training) delivery.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in learning and facilitation trends, training and development tools, and provide ideas that continuously explore new and innovative approaches to learning.
Education and experience
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree (completed at least 2 years) in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Education/Psychology, Organizational Development or similar field.
Instructional design experience (basic):
Learning knowledge of ADDIE method, adult learning process or learning sciences.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with manager, co-workers and customer.
- Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner and escalate as necessary to meet business needs
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs
- Ability to manage complex situations with diverse requirements with good judgment
- Ability learn and apply new information or skills; Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proactive risk mitigation and problem-solving
- Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
- Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines
- Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional verbal and written communication
Additional Responsibilities:
There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.
