Internship - Contamination Control

The Contamination Control Intern supports manufacturing operations by assisting in process development, industrialization, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce the number of Particle & Molecular Contamination causing activities and sources. This role will be supporting CCE Initiatives and RGA Equipment for EUV.
Your Assignment:
Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Support & Maintain Particular & Molecular Contamination Testing Equipment SOP, Recipes, Programs, Process Improvements and Maintenance.
- Support RGA Lab activities and maintenance.
- Collect andanalyze SPC datatomonitorprocess stability.
- Support & Maintain CCE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), First Pass Yield, Pareto & DN reporting and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Assist CCE structural process improvements to increase Productivity, Efficiency & First Pass Yield (FPY) and to reduce defects related to Cleaning & Contamination.
- Support Roadmap Initiatives for CCE CAPEX Investment, Continuous Improvement (Lean & Six Sigma), NPI, MRO and Capacity Analysis.
- Assist CCE processes for installation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new tools and equipment calibration.
- Assist CCE procedural, process & manufacturing documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Pursuing Bachelor's with a least 3 years completed or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Quality Tools such as SPC, Problem Solving, Pareto Charts, Histograms, Root Cause Analysis, Control Charts, Flowcharts, etc.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement (Lean & Six Sigma) Principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX).
- Familiarity with Project Management Principles is a plus.
- Familiarity in ERP/MES systems or other Manufacturing Systems is a plus.
Additional Responsibilities:
There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
